Internal Window and Glass Partition Cleaning

The inside face of windows, with frames, sills and window boards, plus glass partitions, meeting-room walls, glass doors, push plates, balustrades, mirrors and internal skylights. For an office, that is the glass staff and visitors see and touch every day. The outside face of the windows is our external window cleaning service, a separate job that is often booked alongside so the glass is clear from both sides. Beams, ducts and other high surfaces are not part of this service; our high level cleaning service covers those.

Yes. Manifestation film, frosting and printed graphics on glass walls are cleaned with soft tools and no blades, because a scraper can lift the film's edges or scratch the print. Filmed panels are marked at the survey, so the team knows before starting which surfaces need a lighter touch. Plain glass beside the film is cleaned in the usual way, with squeegee and microfibre. Door edges and frames are done last, so nothing drips back onto glass that is already finished.

Glass doors, push plates and reception screens are touched all day, so they are usually spot-cleaned daily, which your cleaning team can do. Partitions and meeting-room walls in a busy office are commonly cleaned every two to four weeks. The inside face of windows is often matched to the external clean, and skylights and atrium glass are cleaned once or twice a year. A schedule is suggested after the survey, once the film, height and use of each area are known.

Yes. Squeegees and microfibre with a small amount of glass cleaner use very little water and make little noise, so most glass can be cleaned around staff at their desks. Floors and desks beside the glass are protected, and any steps or towers stand in a marked area. Meeting rooms and confidential areas are booked for times when they are empty, often early morning or evening. Open-plan glass is done in a quieter part of the day. Confidential rooms are flagged at the survey.

A cleaner arrives with the agreed glass list for your office, which names every surface and marks anything filmed, high up or in a confidential room. Floors and desks near the glass are protected first, and a marked area is set aside wherever steps or towers go up. Each surface is then cleaned with a squeegee and microfibre cloth, and frames and edges are the final step, so no drips land on glass already finished. The list, not the cleaner's judgement on the day, decides what is cleaned, so a partition or door is not missed or added without agreement.

The glass is checked from both sides in daylight, because streaks that are hidden under office lighting show up beside a window. Each surface is signed off against the agreed list, and any smear found is taken off there and then, before the cleaner moves on. Glass partitions, doors and balustrades are cleaned on both faces, so both faces are looked at. Any surface that was out of reach or unsafe to clean is noted for you rather than left unsaid, which keeps the list an accurate record of what was done.

Yes. Internal roof lights and atrium glazing are cleaned from podium steps, mobile towers or a powered platform, and our own team does the work. The choice depends on the height and on what is on the floor below: an atrium with fixed furniture or a reception desk needs a different set-up from an empty lobby. The work is planned and risk assessed before it starts, with the area marked off. Beams, ducts and other high surfaces are covered by our high level cleaning service.

Yes. Where we already clean your building, internal glass can go on the same cleaning contract, with the same site team knowing the building. It is then covered by the site audits, and on a cleaning contract the audit results, open issues and the action being taken can be seen in Bayleaf Connect alongside your daily cleaning. Glass booked on its own, without a cleaning contract, is not part of that reporting.
