Co-Working Space Cleaning in London

We clean co-working spaces and shared offices in London for the operators who run them: hot-desk floors, member kitchens, phone booths, meeting rooms and event spaces, cleaned around members who come and go from early morning to late at night.

What Makes a Co-Working Space Hard to Clean

A co-working space never really closes. Members badge in before 7am and the last ones leave after 10pm, so there is no empty building to clean.

Hot desks change hands several times a day, and each new member expects a clear, wiped desk. Kitchens take the heaviest use, with coffee machines, dishwashers and fridges running from breakfast to evening drinks. Phone booths and small meeting rooms are booked back to back, and they are small enough that a smell or a smeared screen is noticed at once. Event nights leave a mess in the space members walk into next morning. Members also talk: a full bin or an empty soap dispenser becomes a post in the community app. Operators with several sites need each one to look the same, because members move between them. So a co-working clean is two jobs, an overnight clean of the whole floor and daytime rounds that follow the use.

Cleaning That Keeps Up With Your Members

What Operators Tell Us Goes Wrong

Calls from operators tend to start the same way. The cleaner changes every week and nobody knows the house rules - which desks are reserved, how the kitchen is reset, which booths to leave alone during a call. Or a corporate member asks what the space's cleaning adds to its carbon figures, and nobody can say.

Shared Office Cleaning Services in London

London's co-working floors are often in converted warehouses and older office buildings in Shoreditch, Clerkenwell and King's Cross, as well as new towers in the City. Older buildings tend to have one goods lift and a shared bin store, so before the first night we agree access, lift times and waste arrangements with the landlord. Serviced offices and tenant-leased floors are run differently, and each has a page of its own.

Audits That Follow Member Hours

Checking a Space That Is Never Empty

Members judge the space at 2pm, not at 6am after the overnight clean. So audits look at the floor while it is in use as well as when it is empty.

Checks during member hours

Part of each audit happens in the working day, so the score reflects what a member sees at lunchtime.

Complaints logged like failures

Pass a member's cleaning complaint to us and it is tracked with someone responsible and a deadline, so you can tell the member what was done.

Patterns across your sites

If one location keeps failing on kitchens or booths, it stands out against the others, and we look at its shift times and training before it spreads.

How a Co-Working Quote Is Built

We price the overnight clean and the daytime rounds separately, because they change for different reasons. The overnight clean follows your floor area; the rounds follow how many members are in. As membership grows, rounds can be added without re-pricing the whole contract.

Overnight Cleans and Daytime Rounds

Overnight, the whole floor is done: desks cleared and wiped, kitchens reset, washrooms cleaned and floors vacuumed or mopped. In the day, a cleaner on rounds empties bins, wipes hot desks between users, restocks kitchens and washrooms, and resets meeting rooms and phone booths after use.

Deep Cleaning for Shared Workspaces

Shared kitchens, sofas and booth seating take wear that a nightly clean cannot fix. A deep clean covers upholstery, carpets, fridges, dishwashers and the coffee area, and is fitted into a weekend or the morning after a big event.

Glass and Window Cleaning

Co-working floors are full of glass: meeting-room walls, booth doors and the windows members sit beside. We clean the internal glass on a regular cycle, and our own window team does the outside.

Questions From Co-Working Operators

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you clean while members are in the space?

Yes. A co-working space never really closes, so the cleaning has to work around members. Daytime rounds are quiet jobs: emptying bins, resetting kitchens, wiping hot desks between users and resetting phone booths and meeting rooms. Vacuuming and floor machines are kept for the overnight clean, when the floor is empty. The cleaner on rounds goes where the use is, so the kitchen at lunchtime and the booths booked back to back are seen first.

Do co-working spaces need different cleaning from an ordinary office?

Yes. Members badge in before 7am and the last leave after 10pm, and several people may use the same hot desk in one day. An ordinary office empties in the evening and is cleaned once. A co-working operator needs two jobs: an overnight clean of the whole floor and daytime rounds for desks, kitchens and booths. Members notice small failures, such as a full bin or an empty soap dispenser, and may post about them in the community app. The two jobs are priced separately, because floor area drives one and member numbers drive the other.
