Boutique Cleaning in London

We clean independent and luxury boutiques across London: shop floors, display cases, glass and mirrors, fitting rooms, counters, stockrooms and washrooms. We clean before you open or between appointments, with a small regular team who learn exactly how your shop should look.

What Boutique Cleaning Involves

In a boutique, the cleaning is part of how the brand is presented. The space is small, so a fingerprint on a display case, a smear on a mirror or dust on a shelf edge is seen by every customer, often under spotlights that show every mark.

The surfaces are often expensive and easily damaged: marble and limestone floors that the wrong cleaner will etch, lacquered or veneered joinery, brass and mirrored fittings, glass shelving and upholstered seating in the fitting rooms. Stock is on open display, so cleaners work around it and never move it without agreement. Many boutiques open late morning and see some clients by appointment, which leaves time before opening for floors and glass, with lighter touch-ups between appointments. We agree the products and method for each surface before the first clean, and the same small team comes back each time, so they learn how the shop should look.

Meet Bayleaf Connect

Know the Shop Is Ready Before You Arrive

Boutique cleaning happens before opening, so the first person to judge it is often your first customer. On every boutique cleaning contract, each audit of the shop is in Bayleaf Connect: how the glass, mirrors, display cases and floor scored, and anything still to put right.

A smear on a mirror is small. Knowing about it before a client does is the point.

Boutique Cleaning Across London

We clean boutiques across London, from Mayfair, Marylebone and Chelsea to the independent shops of Notting Hill, Islington and Shoreditch. Many are in period buildings with original floors and shopfronts, or in small units with nowhere to store cleaning kit, so the team brings compact equipment and leaves nothing behind but a clean shop.

Proof the Shop Is Ready

Boutique Cleaning Audits and Reporting

In a small shop the audit is close work: shelf edges, mirror corners, the base of the display cases and the fitting-room seat.

Audits Against Your Own Standard

We audit the shop on our app against a checklist you help write, from mirrors and display cases to the counter and the washroom, and send it to you to sign.

Small Things Logged and Closed

Spot a streak on a mirror or an untidy fitting room and tell us. It is recorded with what was done and when, so one slip does not turn into a habit.

Fixed at the Cause

If the same issue comes up twice, the team is shown again how that task is done in your shop, whether it is the way a stone floor is cleaned or how a display should be left, so the fix lasts.

Boutique Cleaning Testimonials

Daily Boutique Cleaning

A daily boutique clean is mostly detail: glass, mirrors and display cases polished without streaks, shelf edges and fixtures dusted around the stock, fitting rooms reset with curtains straight and seats brushed, floors cleaned with the products agreed for them, and the counter, stockroom and washroom done. Most of it happens before you open.

Hard Floor Cleaning for Boutiques

Boutique floors are often marble, limestone, terrazzo or timber, and the wrong product can dull or etch them for good. We use pH-neutral cleaners on stone and very little water on timber, and machine polishing is booked out of hours, so the floor has dried by the time you unlock.

Window Cleaning for Boutique Retail

A boutique's shopfront and window display do the selling before anyone walks in. Bayleaf's window staff clean the front glass on the street side and behind the display without disturbing it, and the mirrors, glass shelving and cases inside are part of every daily visit.

Boutique Cleaning Questions, Answered

Frequently Asked Questions About Boutique Cleaning Services

What does boutique cleaning include?

Boutique cleaning covers the shop floor, glass and mirrors, display cases, shelving and fixtures, fitting rooms, counter, stockroom and washroom. Window cleaning, floor polishing and deep cleans come on top when the shop needs them. Every product is agreed for your surfaces first, whether that is marble or limestone, lacquered joinery, brass or glass shelving, because in a small shop one wrong product leaves a mark everyone sees. The hourly price covers the products, the equipment and the uniforms.

How is boutique cleaning different from cleaning a large store?

A boutique is small, so every fingerprint, smear and dusty shelf edge is seen by every customer, often under spotlights. Its surfaces also cost more to replace than a chain store's. The work is slower and closer, done by one small team that learns where your display cases, mirrors and delicate fittings are. Large store chains and shopping-centre units need a different set-up, with one contract across many shops, and that work is covered under retail store cleaning. A boutique is judged on detail, not on scale.
