Restaurant Cleaning in London

Restaurant cleaning for London restaurant managers and group operations teams: dining rooms, bars and washrooms cleaned before you open, kitchens cleaned down after service, and deeper work booked when the kitchen is closed, so cleaning fits round your sittings and never costs you covers.

Restaurant Cleaning That Works Around Service

A restaurant's cleaning has to fit round its sittings. Front of house is cleaned before the doors open: floors, tables, chairs and banquettes, glass, the bar and the washrooms.

The kitchen is cleaned down after each service - surfaces, sinks, floors and the outsides of fridges and ovens - so the next shift starts clean. Heavier work, such as pulling out equipment, degreasing walls and cleaning canopies, is booked for when the kitchen is closed. Environmental health officers can arrive unannounced and score food hygiene from 0 to 5. The rating is published online and often shown on the door, and the cleanliness of the kitchen is part of what is scored, alongside the records that show cleaning is being done. We schedule every restaurant contract around your opening hours, your quiet days and the parts of the kitchen your chefs need, so the place is ready for both the first table and an inspector.

Meet Bayleaf Connect

See How Every Branch Was Left Last Night

Your kitchens are cleaned after the last cover goes out, long after the managers have gone home. Bayleaf Connect is part of every cleaning contract. It shows each branch's inspection scores, every fault not yet put right and who has it, so you can compare sites without driving between them.

You know which kitchen needs a word before lunch prep starts.

Restaurant Cleaning Services in London

We clean restaurants across London - single sites in Soho and Notting Hill, and groups with branches in the City, Shoreditch and the outer boroughs - wherever they sit within the M25. London restaurants share the same problems: small kitchens, narrow back stairs, timed deliveries and council rules on when bins can go out. We plan arrival times and kit around each site's own access and loading times.

Restaurant Cleaning Audits and Reporting

How Each Kitchen and Dining Room Is Inspected

An area manager cannot stand in every kitchen at close. So we inspect front of house, the washrooms and the kitchen against the cleaning plan you signed off, and send each branch's findings to the people who run it.

Kitchen and Dining Room Checks

Your operations manager inspects the dining room, bar, washrooms and kitchen using our app and the specification you agreed. The head chef or general manager reads each report through and signs it.

Issues Fixed and Closed

Every fault is assigned, with a deadline, and comes off the list only after a second look, so the same greasy skirting or missed shelf does not turn up at the next inspection.

Learning From Every Kitchen

Problems found in one kitchen - grease building up behind the same make of fryer, a hand-wash sink that keeps being missed - are written into the training our cleaners get at every other site.

Daily Restaurant Cleaning

Daily cleaning is the routine that keeps a restaurant ready to trade: front of house before opening, washrooms checked through the day, and the kitchen cleaned down at close. A group wants each branch to look like the flagship, so one named account manager looks after all your restaurants, with a site manager at each who knows that kitchen.

Extract Canopy and Duct Cleaning

Grease builds up in the canopy, filters and ductwork with every service, and it is a fire risk your insurer will ask about. Our specialist team cleans the whole extract system when the kitchen is closed. TR19 is the industry guidance for this work; what it involves and how often a kitchen needs it are on the extractor and duct cleaning page.

Kitchen Porters for Busy Services

In service, the kitchen depends on whoever is washing up. Our kitchen porters run the pot wash and dishwasher, keep prep areas and floors clear while the chefs cook, and take the bags out at close. Porters can cover regular shifts or the busy weekends when your own team is stretched.

Restaurant Cleaning FAQs

Common Questions From Restaurant Groups

What does a restaurant cleaning service cover?

A London restaurant contract covers front of house, the bar, the washrooms and the kitchen. Dining rooms are cleaned before opening: floors, tables, chairs, banquettes and glass. The kitchen is cleaned down after service, including surfaces, sinks, floors and the outsides of fridges and ovens, so the next shift starts clean. Pulling out equipment, degreasing walls and canopy work are booked separately with our specialist team for when the kitchen is closed. The contract also covers products, machines and uniforms.

Do you take the rubbish out of a restaurant?

Yes. Cleaners bag the waste, separate recycling and put it out for collection at the times your council and landlord allow, which can be tight on narrow London streets. They do not collect it themselves. If you want the collections arranged for you, including food waste, they are managed through our partner. Emptying grease traps is a different job, handled by our kitchen specialists, and is booked on its own, away from the daily clean.
