Hotel Cleaning in London

Hotel cleaning for London general managers and heads of housekeeping: lobbies, restaurants and spas cleaned overnight, back-of-house areas kept on their own schedule, and guest-room housekeeping for larger hotels, with towels and linen supplied when you need them.

How Hotel Cleaning Works Around Your Guests

A hotel never closes, so its cleaning is planned around guests rather than an empty building. Occupancy sets the day. A sell-out weekend or a conference needs far more hands between check-out and check-in than a quiet Tuesday, and the rota has to move with the forecast.

Guest rooms, corridors and lifts are turned in that window. Lobbies, lounges, restaurants and spas are cleaned overnight or before breakfast, when the fewest guests are about. Back of house - staff areas, offices, laundry rooms and loading bays - runs to its own schedule. Brand standards and quality audits set the bar, and a hair on a pillow or a smear on a lift door reaches the reviews within hours. We plan every hotel contract around three things: the occupancy pattern, the brand's own checklist, and the hours when each public area is quiet. Towels and linen can be supplied with the cleaning.

Check Your Hotel Before the Brand Auditor Does

A brand audit or a mystery guest can turn up any night, and by then it is too late to find the dusty skirting outside room 412. Bayleaf Connect, which comes with every cleaning contract, shows your general manager and head of housekeeping the scores from our own inspections, the faults not yet cleared and who is putting them right.

You can see how last night's lobby clean scored before the morning meeting, without walking the floor.

Hotel Cleaning Services in London

We clean hotels from the West End and Mayfair to the City, King's Cross and Canary Wharf, and out to the edge of the M25. London hotels share the same constraints: small service yards, timed loading bays, lobbies that never fully empty and restaurants open to the street as well as to residents. We plan arrival times, kit and night shifts around each building, and waste is managed through our specialist waste partners to the collection times your street allows.

Hotel Cleaning Audits and Reporting

Inspections Before the Brand Visit

Brand auditors and mystery guests arrive without warning, so we inspect your hotel first, against your brand's own checklist. What we find goes to your managers that morning, with the fix and the person doing it.

Room and Lobby Inspections

Your operations manager walks the public areas and back of house with our app and, where we provide housekeeping, opens a sample of rooms ready for release. Your head of housekeeping reads each report and signs it.

Issues Followed Through

Each fault is given to one person with a date to fix it, and it is closed only when someone has looked again. If the same corridor keeps failing, we raise it with you before a guest writes about it.

What Other Buildings Teach Us

Every building we clean is inspected the same way. So a fault that turns up in one - a cleaner that leaves marble dull, a bathroom detail that keeps being missed - becomes part of the training at all the others.

What Hotel Clients Say

Hotel Housekeeping

For some larger hotels we provide room attendants as well as public-area cleaners. They turn rooms between check-out and check-in to your brand's room checklist: beds made, bathrooms cleaned, amenities and linen replaced, and each room checked before it is released to reception. Every brand's standard is different, so our room attendants are directly employed, and learn your hotel's own standard before their first shift.

Kitchen Porters for Hotel Kitchens

A hotel kitchen feeds breakfast, lunch, room service and events from one pass. Our porters keep the wash-up moving, clear prep benches and floors through service, and hand the kitchen back clean at close, so the chefs can cook. Regular shifts are covered, and extra porters can be added for banqueting and busy weekends.

Hard Floor Care for Hotels

Marble lobbies, stone bathroom floors, timber corridors and tiled spa surrounds each need their own method. The products and machines for each floor are settled before the first shift, then we scrub, polish or seal on a schedule that suits the hotel - usually overnight in the lobby, finished and dry before breakfast.

Hotel Cleaning FAQs

Questions From General Managers

Do you provide hotel housekeeping for guest rooms?

Yes, for some larger London hotels, though most of our hotel work is public areas, back of house and night cleaning. Where we do housekeeping, room attendants clean guest rooms and bathrooms to your brand's room checklist and work inside your check-out to check-in window. A sample of rooms is opened and checked before release. Housekeeping is added to a hotel contract only if you want it, so a hotel can use us for lobbies and corridors alone and keep its own room team.

Can you supply towels and bed linen for a hotel?

Yes. A hotel can have towels and bed linen supplied alongside the cleaning, so rooms and spa areas are stocked without managing a separate supplier. The linen is supplied through a third party. Quantities follow your room count and occupancy, and delivery and collection times are agreed with your housekeeping team so they fit around guest arrivals and the hotel's timed loading bay. Linen is optional.
